NLP or Neuro-linguistic programming is based on the theory that our language and behavior develop from our experiences and personal perceptions. NLP training may be acquired through workshops, courses, seminars and others. NLP can be used in variety of areas in the business world to help maximize effectiveness in workers, especially leaders.
NLP Connections has a huge following. Many of the best trainers and NLP Luminaries hang out there as well. You can see me there occasionally as well, but don’t let that put you off.
You can use NLP Connections as a Facebook-style site to find and keep in touch with other people interested in NLP. The site also has a forum and guides to help you choose a good NLP Training.
One of the great things about NLP Connections is everyone is welcome there. Sometimes NLP gets split into too many factions but at NLP Connections you’ll find the president of the Society of NLP, leaders from the Association of NLP, ABNLP, INLPTA and more - all working together.
It’s a good place to get a whole range of views on a whole range of NLP subjects.
The real training that deals with teaching particular skills to a person or a student. You are training whenever you are explaining, describing, or exemplifying a particular repeated process or pattern for a person (student) to know and learn how to apply that particular model in life.
The main area of NLP which says that you are modeling each time you’re imposing behavioral patterns into very precise strategies.
You can get free MP3 interviews from Richard Bandler, Paul McKenna or other. You will usually find other people who have already been on that particular course and these people can give you unbiased feedback about what the training is like.
Many trainers also use the forum, so you might get to talk to them direct and maybe get a discount that way too.
